“I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Negusse. From the start I was impressed by her warm approach and expertise. She is obviously committed to patient care -- she listened attentively to my concerns and had studied my medical history which put me at ease that I was getting top notch care. She provided me with several options for my treatment and explained each process clearly, taking her time and easing any anxieties. The procedure went smoothly and she followed up to check up on me afterwards! I don't usually write reviews but felt moved to acknowledge Dr. Negusse for her commitment to patient care.”

Very shady visit. They lied about their location and only spent 3 minutes talking to me. You’re better off with anyone else.

I have had a very disappointing experience with Premier Gastroenterology Institute. My appointments were canceled multiple times, sometimes on the day of the appointment. I would receive voicemails to "confirm" my appointment, but when I called back, they would inform me that my appointment needed to be canceled. They were unable to offer me an alternative appointment time and promised to "call back soon with availability." After a week, they called me back, but still couldn't provide the availability of the doctor. When I finally had my appointment, the doctor did not have a good bedside manner. I felt like my health concerns were dismissed and ignored. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of communication between the nurse practitioner and the doctor, as they gave me conflicting information about the best treatment options for me. Neither of them showed empathy towards the severe pain I have been experiencing for months. I plan to find a different GI provider.

I took the phone call option on my lunch break and didn’t get the call till I was back from my lunch- 30 min later. The nurse practitioner that I met with was the best, super sweet and great listener and understood everything I was talking about. I didn’t get to talk with the doctor. I wish they were closer so I could get seen there.

The dr didn’t even speak to me. I was contacted by the nurse practitioner and she was the one prescribing medications and diagnosing. If i wanted to speak to a nurse practitioner I would have booked with one, and not choose the gastrologist.

I am so impressed with Dr. Negusse and her staff I was immediately acknowledged with a warm greeting and they offered me a water. Dr. Negusse was very kind, professional and took the time to listen to me. I didn't feel rushed and I finally felt heard! She explained everything so eloquently and made sure I knew what to expect before and after my procedure. After my first visit I knew I was in good hands and could trust her completely. Dr. Negusse is very professional, friendly, and supportive. Best physician I've ever seen! She explained my procedures before, during, and after and kept checking in on me for a few days afterwards. She will be the only G.I. physician I see in the future.

I can't thank Dr. Debbie enough. I never thought that I would be in the position to need a feeding tube and the entire circumstance surrounding my condition was very stressful. Thank God for doctors like Debbie Negusse who supported me throughout this challenging process. She was patient and empathetic and expressed care for me as a person (!) not just a patient -- acknowledging the emotional as well as physical aspects of undergoing such a procedure. In the end I felt entirely comfortable and informed and the actual procedure was actually quite simple! Dr. Negusse genuinely cares about people and their holistic wellness. I highly recommend her for anyone in need of gastro-intestinal care. She's simply the best!
