Denis T. Sconzo, MD, FACOG, is an obstetrician and gynecologist with almost 30 years of diverse experience providing care for women throughout all stages of adult life. He is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center and affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, where he performs all hospital work.
As a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Sconzo provides routine gynecologic care, treatment of gynecologic conditions, and prenatal care and testing. He performs surgeries, including minimally invasive and vaginal surgery, ultrasounds and onsite testing related to infertility and menopause. He also offers STD testing and treatment and family planning options. An onsite laboratory is available at his office.
Dr. Sconzo is a graduate of Columbia University and completed medical school at the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University’s Bellevue Hospital Center, where he was named administrative chief resident in his final year. He served in the United States Air Force in the Medical Corps as captain and staff physician and clinic chief of OB/GYN Services at Hahn Air Base in Germany, and as a Major at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

The doctor was friendly, thorough and he asked questions to understand you address your concerns. He explained what he was doing and why and what happens next. He explained how to contact him and what happens if he out the office; there are other doctors in the practices. It was nice to know, that you do not have waits months to get an appointment.

I’ve been going through this medical facility for over 20 years. I’m happy with service provided. For me, I love the new office and location. It round corner from home. Most importantly, I love the new office and cleanliness. Parking lot is also better than previous Yonkers location. I referred friends here. They are happy as well.
