“Dr. Kilpatrick and his technician s were very through. The office staff were taught nothing of insurance coverage. I arrived at the office and made sure I let them know the medical procedures were to be billed to uhc and if there was any prescription determining it had to be separate and billed to eyemed. I was told no problem and to remind them at checkout. I said the same thing to the first technician. When I went to the clerk to check out I was told uhc would not cover my prescription exam. I reiterated the previous conversation and the assistant apologized and informed me that I would have had to see two different doctors. After getting no where, I refused the prescription and informed the assistant that I would not be paying the bill no matter what and left.”

I want to start by saying the team was very friendly, and Dr. Kilpatrick was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly and concisely. As someone with experience in practice development for a large Dental Services Organization, I pay close attention to the patient experience, and one of my biggest frustrations with healthcare providers is poor time management. I had a 2:30 PM appointment, arrived 15 minutes early to complete any necessary forms, and ensure I was on time. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting 70 minutes to be seen by the doctor, which made me feel that my time wasn’t respected. While the team and doctor were great, improving their time management would make a significant difference in the overall patient experience. They could have called or text and let me know they were running an hour late no one wants to sit in an waiting room or exam room for 70 minutes.

Very efficient, knowledgable, and courteous staff. I was seen immediately and was informed of all tests performed. Dr. Kilpatrick discussed his findings and a treatment plan was developed with me. This was a great appointment!
