About Dr. Dex Alvarez

Dr. Dex Alvarez provides care at our South Tampa location and is a third generation Tampa native. Dr. Alvarez graduated Jesuit high school Tampa, and earned his degree in Biological Science from Florida State University. Soon after earning his bachelors degree, Dr. Alvarez was accepted as one of only 12 students to be a part of the inaugural class of National University of Health Sciences’ Florida campus. Upon graduating with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Alvarez was also awarded the Joseph Janse Outstanding Graduate Award. Dr. Alvarez's primary purpose is to change and transform the way people view and manage their health care from the inside out. At our south Tampa location the entire patient will be given care. Dr. Alvarez not only provides spinal corrective care to his patients but also educates them on how to deal with every day stresses by relaxing the mind, having proper nutrition, detoxifying the body, correcting spinal issues to allow proper nervous system function, and how to properly exercise to encourage optimum oxygenation to lean muscles.
