Dr. Diane Dunne, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist through the California Board of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology who has worked in clinical settings with individuals, couples and groups for over 29 years! Being a psychologist has been her life's passion because she feels a deep caring and compassion for others. Dr. Dunne obtained a doctorate in Philosophy with a specialization in Clinical Psychology from William Lyon University in San Diego. In her training to become a Licensed Psychologist, she served an approved 3-year Internship by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) at Brea Hospital Neuropsychiatric Center in Brea, CA. She also holds certifications as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist in Medical Hypnosis from the National Board for Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology and from the Institute of Medical Hypnosis. She holds an M.A in Counseling and Guidance from California State University, San Bernardino. She graduated from California Polytechnic University, Pomona with a BA in Education. In addition, she is a Life Credentialed teacher and she holds a Pupil Services Services Credential with a specialization in School Counseling and School Administration. She has taught Law and Ethics, Counseling Practicum/Internship, Intro to Counseling and Guidance and Statistics as an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling and Psychology Departments at three universities within the California State University System.
