Great visit. The team is very professional, and very happy crew. My interactions here have always been pleasant. My acne has cleared up a lot in the last few months. I also like that they take photos along the way to review progress. My only complaint - I've been there two times. Both times, it takes about 30 min to be 'seen' by the assistant, then another 10 minutes until Divya could come in. Not crazy long, but it would be nice to know I won't be seen for 30+ min.

The doctor did not fully help me with either of the issues I came in for. I came in for a mole check and acne treatment on a Friday and it seemed like she was trying to rush me out for the weekend and she didn't take the time to help at all. After she briefly looked over my moles, she said that they're irregular and I should have them monitored by UCSF. I'm fine with being referred to another doctor, but she gave no information on who to contact. Then she gave me an acne treatment regimen. As her assistant was trying to explain the regimen to me, the doctor kept coming in and out of the room interrupting her. It was awkward and caused the assistant to forget important steps in the regimen. I asked whether I should not drink alcohol on the medication and never got an answer. Once I finished going through the regimen with the assistant, the doctor came in and said she spoke with the pharmacy and some of the medications she prescribed are not accepted by my insurance company. I asked her to change the regimen to include medications covered and she said that since it's Friday she'd try to resolve it after the weekend. She assured me that she would give me enough samples that would last me a month and it was no rush to fix the prescription. It was only after I got home that I realized that not only were some of the medications not included in the samples, but one of the medications only had 8 pills (to be taken daily). No way would that last an entire month. I ended up being at the office for almost 2 hours and yet didn't feel like I had been fully helped. I wish I had gone to a different doctor who would've cared that I had concerns about my moles.

Had no problem that I went there with a number of different areas with question. Showed her some skin discolouration and she knew immediately how to deal with it. Still need to test the medication itself, but I was very pleasantly surprised that she managed to create a very detailed regiment to treat the problem as quickly as she did. Very friendly office, and very forward with looking to help me in any way they could.

I have been seeing Dr. Divya Railan for over a year. I cannot thank her enough for addressing my skin concerns. She treated my skin with just medicines and no external procedures, which I absolutely loved. Amazing results in just a year! I highly recommend Dr. Divya! She is very friendly and listens to you patiently.

I came in for moderate inflammatory acne and severely plugged skin. Dr. Railan looked at my skin type seriously before prescribing any medicines. She noticed I had darker dry skin that becomes oily under poor treatment. Thus, she started me off with a gentle topical antibiotic for my face and a low strenth tazorac for my back. After a month, she increased the strength of the tazorac and gave me atralin for my face to take with thr topical antibiotics. After three months, most of thr inflammatory acne has subsided, and much of the plugs on my face have cleared as well. I'm extremely pleased.
