She graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Kwong also completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of California, Irvine. Dr. Kwong joined Bay Valley Medical Group in 2001. In her spare time, she enjoys music, photography and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Most relevant

Visit was a routine physical and blood work. Dr. Kwong is very thorough and a good listener. Visits are never rushed.

Unfortunately, I had a very unsatisfying experience with an uncaring and rude Dr Kwong. Dr Kwong arrived 30-minutes late to the video appointment. After a brief conversation, she asked where I'm based. Upon hearing that I'm a long drive from her, she stopped abruptly (accompanied by a slight eye roll?!) and asked "are you even going to continue to see me?". My answering "of course that's why I'm here" apparently didn't satisfy her, as she refused to answer my follow-up questions by cutting me off. When I pushed for it, she said "I'm only here for one thing, I can't answer any of your questions.". Then I had to REALLY push for it by reminding her about her lateness and my rights as a patient to ask questions. That put her in her place. It felt strangely similar to dealing with petty bullies in high school. Overall, it was a terrible experience. Doctors are supposed to care about their patients. I am not convinced that someone as mean and unprofessional as Dr Kwong has my best interests at heart.

My visit with Dr. Donna Kwong was great, as usual. I've been seeing Dr. Kwong as my Primary Care Physician for many years. She is always pleasant and listens carefully to my concerns regarding my health. She has always referred me to specialists if needed and I trust her good judgement in helping me to stay healthy.
