“God bless this woman. Dr. Min absolutely rocks. The office was super nice and clean, friendly staff that was organized and punctual. I only waited maybe 10 mins (but also I had a morning appt so not sure how it gets later in the day). She listened to me, asked great questions, and we made a plan together for the next steps. Coochie care can be scary but she really make me feel comfortable and confident for the next steps.”

About Dr. Dorothy Min
Dr. Dorothy Min has practiced obstetrics and gynecology at Downtown Women OB/GYN since 2006. She loves developing connections with her patients and values a trusting, respectful patient-doctor relationship. She provides a full spectrum of OB/GYN care from annual well-woman visits to the management of gynecological disorders, as well as pregnancy and childbirth. She also performs minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeries including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Dr. Min graduated from Brown University in 1994 and returned to her native New York to obtain her MD from SUNY Downstate in 2000. She completed her OB/GYN residency in 2004 at Maimonides Medical Center where she was in faculty practice before joining Downtown Women. She was Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2005.

Dr. Min was really friendly and helpful. She took the time to really listen and gave me follow up stuff to do. I feel like I’m finally finding a dr who can give me good care and listened. She told me what I was experiencing wasn’t normal which is so different than other drs I’ve been to who just say it’s normal.

Great doctor - listened to all my concerns and history and gave clear information about plans/follow-up and potential diagnoses. Twice asked if there was anything else I wanted to share, and sat down with me and looked directly at me to discuss my concerns rather than asking during exam/rushing me through. The wait time was a bit long but that's often the case at any doctor in nyc... Was looking for a good dr and found her!

It was one of the best experiences I've had with a Gynecologist in YEARS. She spent at least 30-45 minutes actually talking through my history, asking questions, hearing concerns and addressing them. She assuaged my concerns about my health and made me feel like a human. I love that the practice is all women and that they work together for pregnant patients to make it comfortable for them (including actually knowing who your delivery doc might be). I'm not pregnant now but I love the idea of sticking with one practice through it all.
