“This doctor is highly knowledgable. So are other doctors. However, what stood out to me was that this doctor knows how to make you feel comfortable and not rushed.
He has great sense of humor, and loves to chitchat and takes his time. During one of the ultrasounds that he did, he was chitchatting and describing what he saw and also took time and accepted a request to show a specific spot of the baby which to me was such a comforting experience.

About Dr. Douglas Moss
I am an attending physician excited to have recently joined the staff associated with Lenox Hill Hospital Northwell, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
I have over 30 years of experience practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology. My practice accepts new patients, but I have many patients whom I have delivered and am now delivering their babies as well. Trained at Mount Sinai Hospital by giants in the field of obstetrics, including my father, Dr. Richard Moss, I possess a skill in clinical obstetrics few have learned in our field. We offer our patients low cesarean section rates and vaginal birth after cesarean.
I also offer diverse and comprehensive gynecologic care throughout a woman’s life, including menopause management.

Dr. Moss was not very attentive or empathetic, it seemed like he was in a hurry or wanted to move on to something/someone else. He shared very sensitive news with me, didn’t take the time to answer any questions or address concerns, and simply left the room after my exam.
