I completed a Doctorate and two Master Degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Criminal Justice. I am driven by my passion toward helping others, and I aim to provide and advocate for the best quality and culturally sensitive services and to work towards eliminating the stigma from mental health services from individuals, families, groups of adults and children from our Latino community. I use an evidence-based eclectic and holistic psychological orientation that is trauma informed and focused on resiliency. I have been recognized in a 2023 Campaign advocating to eliminate Mental Health Stigma and received a Partnership Advocacy Award by the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agency. I am an active member of American Psychology Association and served for 2 years as a former member of Sidney Kimmel Cancer at Jefferson Health Community Advisory Board. I use a person-centered approach with my patients to help them find the choices that work for them with evidence-based models with a strength-based approach to find their inner resiliency and recovery. I don't tell them the choices that work. They choose, and I validate and support their options most suitable for them. I am a trauma-informed and solution-focused psychologist. I respect all cultures and religions. My clients will learn more about themselves and be the best version that they can be. I will help them find the path of resiliency that we all have inside.
