About Dr. Edwin Hopson

Dr. Edwin S. Hopson is a Louisville native and an alumnus of Ballard High School. While playing for the Ballard Varsity Basketball team, he injured his back, resulting in months of chronic low back pain with sciatica down to his feet. Through a helpful referral to a local chiropractor, Dr. Hopson almost immediately returned to his pre-injury physical level and playing competitive basketball. The non-invasive, hands-on care Dr. Hopson received inspired him to pursue a career in the chiropractic field. He completed his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California where he obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Hopson was a leader in his graduating class demonstrating unique and innovative techniques to rehabilitate the injured spine and extremities. He then became certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the Colorado-based National Strength and Conditioning Association. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Hopson graduated from Columbia University in New York City where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts, with concentrations in psychology and visual art.
