About Dr. Ehab Ibrahim
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and serves as Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine with over 18 years serving patients and their families throughout the Northern NJ region.
Dr. Ibrahim graduated from Alexandria University and completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, where he graduated with honors in 2004 as part of the Internal Medicine Residency program, receiving high accolades and awarded “Resident of the Year” for outstanding performance and extensive research for the American College of Physicians.
In 2006 he founded a patient-centered practice, Advance Medical Group, focusing on treatment of various illnesses and chronic medical conditions including obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma…etc. With almost two decades of medical experience, Dr. Ibrahim is passionate about weight loss management, actively listening to his patients’ challenges and helping them to reach their weight loss and overall wellness goals. “I like to say everyone has a story, and every story is unique”, Dr. Ibrahim enjoys spending time with his patients, and making them feel like family.
Within his practice, Dr. Ibrahim remains current in medical advancements, strengthening his staff’s clinical knowledge with ongoing medical teachings through clinical scenarios and case studies, providing patients with the most exceptional medical care. Dr. Ibrahim is known to have a warm, welcoming demeanor and is recognized by both his patients and staff for his willingness to help others.
Dr. Ibrahim was recently appointed Assistant Clinical Professor by Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, teaching medical students and Nurse Practitioner students from various accredited colleges. Love fact all medical records are kept digitally. Provides transparency between doctor and patient - could work little bit on wait times but once Doctor is there he does not rush you

Dr. Ibrahim was more than competent and prescribed for me the particular medicine I was requesting, so I appreciated that. He was also intelligent and seemed passionate about what he does and seems to really care about his patients. I'm not sure he was the best fit for me however, as I found his approach to be a bit condescending and I think we had a clash in personality and desired treatment plan. I have a lot of respect for him though and I think anyone would be safe and in good hands under his care. He just wasn't the right primary physician for me because I didn't feel entirely comfortable speaking my concerns and thoughts with him to the level of detail I would have liked to. That's just me though, and a it's personal level of comfort I feel I need in a doctor. This is NOT a knock against Dr. Ibrahim or his capabilities all, so please take this review with a grain of salt.

I waited over an hour to go into the examination room, then took another half an hour to see the doctor. We met for about 3 minutes to discuss bloodwork I got back. I timed my entire appt from when I walked in the door to leaving at an hour and 47 minutes. I will not be going back. 2 hours is unacceptable and unnecessary for that circumstance.

I was taken in to a room after waiting for about 5 minutes, but then waited over an hour for him to come into the room. I normally would have walked out, but I was getting results from a physical. The reason I was waiting so long is because is thorough with each of his patients and goes over every concern, so it takes time. With that being said, it was worth the wait. Most doctors are quick to rush and Dr. Ibrahim made me feel like he actually cares about his patients.

I am so grateful for Dr. Ibrahim’s prompt attention to my condition, and fully appreciating the anxiety and stress with regard to difficulty in not being able to take a full breath due to the flu. Heather was equally great in calming me in advance .
