Dr. Elias Aliprandis is a fellowship-trained corneal specialist who received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Elias Aliprandis completed his ophthalmology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and received his Fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Dr. Aliprandis has received numerous awards for his research and is licensed in the states of New York and Florida. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Elias Aliprandis specializes in cataract surgery, laser vision correction, corneal transplantation, dry eye, and diseases of the cornea and anterior segment of the eye. The experience at the doctor’s office was the most deflating I have ever had. After leaving work early, battling traffic, finding parking and arriving 10 mins before my 2pm appointment I was told by office staff that there was no information for me and I am NOT in their schedule at all therefore I do not have an appointment. Feeling overcome with confusion I asked if there was any cancellation that I could possibly be fit in but again NO was the answer. Out of desperation I asked when was the next available appointment which was a month away. I may be just a bit dramatic and go to the emergency room at this point because the growth on my eye is impairing my vision and i drive daily to work and picking up my children from school. Must note Zoe Doc is suppose to make this process of finding a doctor of any sort easier, I must say has grossly failed in doing so.

Great staff! The only complaint I have is in regard to Zocdoc. When I showed up to the office they said that they didn’t have me down and that the doctor doesn’t have connection to zocdoc. So I was very confused. However, they were able to take me as an emergency patient.

Do not book an appointment with this office on ZocDoc. The time in ZocDoc was not actually available. I got a phone call from the office on Monday that they can’t see me, then they asked me to come there illuminate. When I got to the office it was as if I didn’t use ZocDoc at all and was just a random person walking in off the street. Had to fill out all the forms, provide all the info and they. Wait for more than an hour to see a different doctor, who was nice and knowledgeable. The actual appointment was maybe five minutes. The time I spent at the office was more than 90 minutes. Only come here if you’ve got nothing but time to waste!
