Getting to know Dr. Elina Kugel

** Please be advised that your first session is an Intake Appointment. After this appointment is booked, our office will reach out to you to schedule the subsequent Testing and Feedback Appointments. ** Dr. Elina Kugel, Psy.D is a licensed clinical psychologist and the co-founder of Curect Neuropsychology. Dr. Kugel specializes in neuropsychological evaluation of children and adults presenting with a wide range of brain disorders, including ADHD, Learning Disorders, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease/dementia, stroke and traumatic brain injury/concussions, among other diagnoses. She tailors each evaluation to address the specific concerns and needs of each client. At the conclusion of testing, Dr. Kugel provides clients with a comprehensive written report detailing cognitive, emotional and/or academic functioning. Each client also receives an extensive list of practical and concrete recommendations to help them and their family focus on strengths in order to overcome their specific set of challenges. Dr. Kugel received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Hartford. Dr. Kugel received extensive clinical training including the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Icahn School of Medicine-Mount Sinai Hospital and postdoctoral fellowship at the JFK-Johnson Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Kugel’s research interests include traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases
