In addition, I have specialized training in trauma-focused treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Education and Training: I received my B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Vanderbilt University and my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Auburn University. I completed my clinical psychology internship and fellowship in the PTSD Clinic and Women’s Trauma and Recovery Clinic at the Boston VA Healthcare System, where I received extensive training in psychological assessment and the delivery of evidence-based treatments.

My practice focuses on helping individuals process difficult emotions and live more meaningful lives, whether you are managing a diagnosed mental health condition, are facing a current stressor, or are simply feeling stuck. I aim to create a non-judgmental space and to be authentic and compassionate in my work. I am dedicated to providing culturally responsive care and welcome clients of diverse backgrounds and identities. My approach integrates cognitive and behavioral principles, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. I also offer evidence-based trauma-focused therapies, including cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and prolonged exposure (PE). I believe that therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual needs, strengths, and values of each client.

Together, we will work to identify your treatment goals, further develop existing strengths, learn new skills, and pursue what is most important to you.
