Dr. Grace Verbeck provides a relational approach to therapy with over a decade of experience treating children, youth, and adults with histories of complex trauma and associated conditions including PTSD, dissociation, and stressrelated disorders. She also has considerable expertise providing clinical services to lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, gender fluid, and nonbinary individuals and their families. She embraces a transaffirmative approach in which all experiences of gender are acknowledged and validated. Dr. Verbeck utilizes interventions developed to enhance sources of resiliency to support clients in becoming more resistant to everyday stressors both expected and unexpected. She creates space for clients to safely explore, understand, and inhabit their unique experiences. Dr. Verbeck has mastered a wide variety of evidencebased and innovative complex trauma intervention models such as TraumaFocused cognitivebehavioral therapy TFCBT, ParentChild Interaction Therapy PCIT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, biofeedback, ARC Attachment, Regulation, and Competency and SMART Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy. In addition to her clinical services, Dr. Verbeck also serves as the Clinical Site Director for LifeStance offices located in Lexington and Wellesley, MA.
