About Dr. Ellen Marchese
Dr. Marchese is an Internist and Infectious Disease specialist. She has been practicing more than 15 years. She graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in PR in 2001, completed Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Disease Training at Cabrini Medical Center NYC. She specializes in primary care, infectious disease and HIV care. As Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai South Nassau she was part of the teaching staff for the medical, pharmacy and podiatry residents.
She is a proud member of the Maspeth Lions Club, where she is the Vice president. She has been part of many medical missions, including medical missions in Haiti and Africa. She has received many awards, including the Humanism in Medicine Award and Doctor of the year.
She loves to have a close relationship with her patients, helping them achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys meditation, traveling, and scuba diving with her husband.

Dr. Marchese was very friendly, very patient, and listened to everything I had to say. She was very knowledgeable and was coming up with ideas as we were talking. She was willing to think outside-the-box once the likely suspects had been eliminated.

Dr. Marchese takes absolutely the time that is needed to get down to the cause of your problem. She is very detailed and analytical, she listens carefully to all your experiences and symptoms and asks important leading questions that make you realize even more unusual things and details, and then in a clear logical deduction gets to the root of the cause. My wife came with a host of symptoms from allergies and Lyme disease, and still she was able to disentangle all the problems to figure out an infection that was the cause of the main symptom instead of just settling down with the already diagnosed Lyme disease (which has very similar symptoms).
Besides all that, she is extremely kind and friendly. Definitely one of the best doctors we have ever seen.

I saw this provider for treatment after a particular disease test came back positive. I have since seen another infectious disease provider who disagreed with the duration of treatment Dr. Marchese prescribed, and significantly disagreed with the time period in which she told me I should expect to recover. She seems very experienced with other infectious diseases, so look into her specific experience before choosing her.

She communicated and liste ed to my problem. She takes her time and has very professional bedside manners. This is by far the best experience i ever had with a doctor, she helped me calm down, i was stressed about my situation.. Excellent doctor

Best doctor ever. I had to go to urgent care twice, two other online doctors, and even the ER all which misdiagnosed me as I got sicker. She took one look at me and listened to my symptoms and ordered blood work and it came back positive for her first guess. Seriously intelligent doctor. I will come back to her and I will recommend.

Dr Marchese was the most patient, communicative doctor I ever met. She took her time with me. Answered all my questions (which I had many) quickly and in an informative manner. She made me feel very comfortable.

During my initial visit , dr marchese did not make me feel rushed, she listened to what I had to say and provided a thorough examination , after which which she included me on the next steps of the proposed treatments and provided patient answers to our multiple questions.

Dr. E. Marchese has a real knack for diagnosing stuff other doctors missed. She is super thorough and answers however many million questions you throw at her. She never makes you feel like she’s in a hurry.
She’s the only doctor whose information I trust 100%.

Having been treated and seen by Dr. Ellen Marchese was a true blessing! She was very caring, understanding and compassionate towards me since the first day I called to make an appointment. She always answered my questions thoroughly and put my mind at ease. She always followed up to check on how I was feeling and always got back to me right away.
