Dr. Ellen Rooney is a primary care physician specializing in internal medicine, primarily serving the Upper East Side and surrounding areas. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College, completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Roosevelt Hospital, and finished her residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Rooney and she was wonderful. Took a thorough history, asked me thoughtful questions and listened to my questions and concerns. I told her about some specific issues I have and she recommended specialists, and even took the time to research and recommend a subspecialist for my concerns.
