About Dr. Emily Sandoc

Dr. Emily Sandoc has a philosophy of providing quality eyecare in a comfortable and caring environment and has been doing so at Optom-Eyes since 2011. She practices full-scope optometry, providing primary eye care, contact lens fittings, ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, dry eye therapy, and refractive surgery co-management out of our Mission Valley office. A native San Diegan, Dr. Sandoc went on to attend UC Berkeley where she double majored in Biology and Psychology. After working for 6 years as a health educator at the UCSF Cancer Center, she returned to graduate school at the Southern California College of Optometry. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008 and has enjoyed helping her patients attain clear and comfortable vision since. Outside of the office, she is busy enjoying time with her husband and three daughters – exploring our hometown, traveling to new places, cooking, baking and eating good food.
