“I couldn't make this appointment because of a family emergency. However, the office did an exemplary job of texting and calling to confirm my appointment and types of insurance beforehand. They didn't scold me for missing the appointment without notice, in fact, Dr. Mathews even called me 5 minutes *and* 45 minutes after my scheduled time to see if he could get ahold of me. I really appreciate the genuine care and concern. Later, they contacted me to reschedule the appointment, without any malice or negativity involved. Thank you for being so kind!”

Dr. Mathews and I had an appointment for medication management because I was having trouble finding a doctor who could prescribe certain medications I had been taking my whole adult life. Dr. Mathews recognized that I needed his help and therefore was able to help reorganize my medication in order to responsibly optimize the effects (even improving upon my original regimen before I started having trouble). Dr. Mathews was attentive, kind, gentle, loving and extremely empathetic. He didn't put me down for sounding upset, confused and angry. He set firm boundaries, clarified what he could and couldn't do, and ultimately we worked as a team to meet in the middle in compromise. All the while Dr. Mathews explained each medication, the side-effects, the risks, et cetera so that I had a better understanding of what was going into my body. Now that I am on Dr. Mathews medication regimen, I feel great. In fact, I felt instantly better the same day as my first appointment. Thank you Dr. M!
