About Dr. Eric Tennenbaum

Dr. Tennenbaum is a graduate of The State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology. He continued his education at the State University of New York - College of Optometry in Manhattan, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree. He began practicing optometry in 1988. After many years in retail optometry, Dr. Tennenbaum opened his private practice in 2009, serving the Long Island community in his own way. Treating patients like family and providing the best care possible are the cornerstones of his practice.
Dr. Tennenbaum is proud to be a member of the Seaford Chamber of Commerce. He is an annual donor to numerous Seaford school events and sports teams. GO VIKINGS! An avid cyclist, he drew inspiration from his rides along the path from Cedar Creek Park to Jones Beach when naming his practice. He has been a longtime member of the Massapequa Park Bicycle Club and has served on its executive board for many years.
He is also a proud sponsor of the club's Tour of the Hamptons charity bike ride, which donates to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and provides scholarships to Massapequa High School students.

Both my husband and I have been going to Eric for a very long time, maybe 20 years. We followed Eric from his prior practice. He was and is always happy to see us. Explains everything in detail / or as much as we want/need. He and Jeff never rush us no matter how many questions we ask. They work with the insurance companies and you to make sure you are getting the best options for our needs. We highly recommend Eric, Jeff, and Vision at Cedar Creek.

My visit to Vision at Cedar Creek was great. Dr. Tennenbaum was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the optical store had a wide selection of glasses, including stylish and affordable options. I’d definitely recommend them.

Dr. Eric Tennenbaum at Vision of Cedar Creek has been fantastic in taking care of my entire family, from myself and my teenager to my mother for many years. He listens carefully to our concerns and always provides thorough, personalized care.
