Getting to know Dr. Erin Armour

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Tennessee with over 10 years of experience and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University. I have worked with patients facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, relationship problems, and sleep difficulties. I have also helped people managing chronic pain and disability, as well as assisted individuals and couples in improving their communication and relationships. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and focused on empowering my clients to make positive changes in their lives. I combine motivational interviewing with cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques to help individuals achieve their goals. Together, we develop individualized, mutually agreed-upon treatment plans based on empirically supported methods. It takes tremendous strength and courage to ask for help in making positive changes, and I am honored to be part of that process. I look forward to working with you!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
