About Dr. Ethan Pais
Dr. Ethan Pais graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his residency training with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine/Metropolitan Hospital, serving as chief resident of academic affairs in his final year. Dr. Pais has extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, wound care, sports medicine, and limb salvage.
As a Massachusetts native, with strong Rhode Island ties, Dr. Pais is thrilled to be returning to New England to join the team at Rhode Island Foot and Ankle.
Outside of the office, Dr. Pais is an avid New England sports fan. He loves to spend time outdoors, either on the ski mountain or the golf course. He also loves to grill with family and friends.

I actually went in because i thought it was for my finger nail problem but was told they don’t do fingernails just feet So they ended up looking at my feet nothing wrong with, i just feel i shouldn’t of been charged for that visit, nothing was really done, my lost??

Dr. Pais and his assistant, Meghan were friendly. Professional listened to my concerns. They proceeded in a professional manner addressing my concerns with detailed suggestions and recommendations. Dr Pais explained my ingrown toe nail proceeder effectively and thoroughly, before anything began. Along with making sure I had any accommodations that I needed when I wasn’t feeling well. I was in and out of the office in a short amount of time with instructions on after care.

After searching for weeks for someone to take me, Dr. Pais was the only option. The overall experience was average but I do feel a bit disappointed. I don’t feel like any of the staff or doctors took my concerns seriously. I’m back at square one doing the same things I’ve been doing. It was a super quick appointment which is fine - especially since I had to go back to work. I’m now looking for a second opinion as I’m not sure what was suggested is the right course of action (I don’t disagree, but there’s clearly something we’re missing as I’m in extreme pain after the examination). Also, despite filling out the forms and identifying my insurance, I was still put through as self-pay. I’m expecting a hassle when it comes to payment. I guess I should have read the reviews before booking as this seems to be a common problem.

My appointment was amazing. Having a history with ingrown nails I was aware of the procedure and dreaded the entire process however, Dr. Pais was amazing. He explained everything and was as gentle as possible which is saying a lot especially in his line of work. Dr. Pais was very professional and even engaged with my baby boy and shared baby stories which shows he values family. Though it was a drive (one hour) I’ll make the drive any day for my new Podiatrist:-)

I’ve had a lot of struggles in the past with doctors dismissing my health concerns. Dr.Pais was a great listener and attentive to my concerns. He validated what other doctors dismissed. All other staff I interacted with were also friendly and helpful. I arrived early and still didn’t wait very long. My follow-up appointment was the same, Dr.Pais went over the test results thoroughly and patiently. Overall this office is a prime example of professionalism and bedside manner.

What a wonderful place. From checking in to the MA going through the process. Everyone was so nice and helpful! Dr.Pais was very throughout and friendly and made me feel comfortable as well as explaining to me what the process was and why I was having heal pain.
I greatly appreciate this office and will plan to refer friends and family.

Nice friendly staff and doctor. My issue wasn’t major but it was bothersome — I had a wart along my toe nail for a few years. I couldn’t get rid of it myself. I didn’t have the patience to stick with OTC methods. It was only getting larger and I finally decided to see a podiatrist. Dr. Pais was engaging, gave me clear sense of what to expect, and the treatment was effective. Would recommend.

I went to see Dr. Pais for a troublesome wart. I was seen quickly with minimal wait time. Dr. Pais was highly personable and listened to my concerns about how a removal procedure could impact my future travel plans and plans for a weekend golf outing. After weighing the pros and cons, Dr. Pais successfully removed the wart. Dr. Pais and all the office staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
