About Dr. Eveena Mahal
Our doctor in Arlington, VA, Dr. Eveena Mahal, graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry in 2009. Originally from Cumberland, MD, she practiced optometry in Richmond, VA, for a year before returning to the Metro DC area in 2010.
In addition to her work in primary eye care, Dr. Mahal has experience at a LASIK surgery center. She has also participated in volunteer health brigades in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Honduras.

If you are a military personnel, I highly recommend that you don’t go to this office as they don’t accept Tricare. My first eye exam was great but the second visit was terrible. They had my military ID card for almost 30 minutes trying to figure out if they accept Tricare. The front office does not understand how Tricare works.

They were super nice and super hgelpful! They suggested me getting photos of my eyes to make sure nothing was wrong, which caught me off guard, but no insane pricing and they were upfront about how much the glasses and exam were. They got me an exam and glasses within an hour. Thank y'all so much

Saw a different doctor than I booked with but I didn’t mind. Appointment was quick and easy and staff was very nice. Very conveniently located next to a parking garage and you can get your parking validated at the Target next door for free.
