His beside manner is calm and focused and he answered all of my questions and offered reasonable solutions. I would recommend him highly from my own experience. About Dr. Faisal Al-Alim
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy is to not only treat my patients but to guide them to help themselves. I also strive to treat each individual with the same dignity and respect as I would treat my own family.
Why I Entered Medicine
I have always had a passion for medicine, and I enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with my patients within the community. I find medicine both rewarding and challenging, as every day is different and every individual has specific needs. Through medicine, I can help heal the body and mind not only with medication but with education and awareness. I entered medicine knowing that at the end of the day, I have hopefully made a difference in someone's life and well-being. I chose sports medicine as a specialty because I understand the importance of fitness in a person's overall health. I relate to active individuals because I was a college athlete and continue to maintain my health through exercise. Since almost 90 percent of sports injuries do not require surgical intervention, I wanted a career that would allow me to offer my patients a variety of treatment options.
Education and Training
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and completed my undergraduate studies at Carleton University. I completed my Residency in Family Medicine and a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown.
Community and Charity Involvement
I work with students and athletes at Muhlenberg College and Cedar Crest College.
Personal Interests
My personal interests include spending time with my family and playing outside with my kids. I make exercise a priority through weight training and soccer leagues. I also enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures.

Doctor was professional. He listened to my concerns, did an exam and then sent me for testing. My first visit from waiting room
& registration to finish after all was done, was only 40 minutes total. Very nice office. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
