“The girl behind the front desk was lovely. She even gave us the heads up the office was short staffed with one provider. I totally understand that. However, the frustrating part was making an appt time and still waiting after walk-ins. Yes. It’s a walk-in clinic but why offer appointment times or why suggest it/mandate it at times? Then to have people come in after you, go before you, simply because they are there for a urine drug check or a work physical. I do my best not to use the ER for minimal things. I just needed a strep test. It’s why we went…but after 2+ hours of waiting I could’ve waited a shorter wait time in an ER because they would’ve swabbed my throat in triage and ran the test while I sat in the waiting room. My wait wouldn’t have been “wait for a room….then wait another hour for testing.” Won’t likely be using this location again even though my issue has nothing to do with staffing. ”
