For more than 20 years, FastMed has served as the front door of healthcare for North Carolina communities. Our mission is to provide patients with the best end-to-end healthcare experience in terms of quality, accessibility, empathy, and affordability.
In 2024, a North Carolina-based health insurance company acquired all North Carolina FastMed locations. This enables two North Carolina companies with shared values to work together to fortify healthcare capacity in the state, so North Carolinians have access to critical points of quality, affordable care. While FastMed and this company operate independently, we collaborate, all with the goal of enhancing the patient and team member experience.

The name says it all..it was incredibly fast! But, some of my symptoms were not heard or addressed. Overall it was professional and I was prescribed an antibiotic, although the drug was not discussed with me, so some symptoms I've had with it before might reoccur. I would recommend this office, but would tell the person to be specific and bring up all concerns immediately.

The staff were all extremely kind to me and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I truly appreciate their kindness to me even though they were stressed out and busy. On the other hand, the wait time was outrageous and I will be going to a different urgent care next time due to efficiency. Staff is incredible but wait time is insane and ridiculous. Either needs more staff or some way for faster procedures.

They were really busy, but I had an appointment first thing Sunday and they quickly had me do the paperwork and I was taken back for my appointment in a timely manner. Everybody knew their job and was professional, and I would recommend fast med and if needed would return.
