About Dr. Fayez Guirguis
Dr. Guirguis, MD is the founder of the FemGYN: For Her Wellness Urgent Care facilities in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, New York. He started his first OB/GYN practice in Park Slope Brooklyn in 1987. Dr. Guirguis graduated from Cairo Medical School and went on to specialize in general surgery and has extensive training in plastic and cosmetic surgery. He then found his passion in women’s health care and went on to complete his residency in OB/GYN at Brooklyn Hospital.

He is the best doctor ever! He makes me feel comfortable even though it can be an uncomfortable topic or situation. He’s very humorous but stays professional at the same time. He’s also very understanding and kind! I would recommend him over and over! Additionally, the nurse prior to the doctor was very sweet and make me feel comfortable.

My experience was great. I needed an OB in NYC as Im not from here and it’s hard to find a trustworthy doctor that makes you feel comfortable. This office is exceptional at comfortability, communication, friendliness, professionalism, wait time, & overall care. Dr.Guirguis and his staff are very warm & welcoming.

Even though the last appointment time is 6:30pm, they need you to get there before 6:15pm. It does sound like the take walk in appointments. Overall, fast and easy. Will def be coming back!

I won’t be returning. After two separate visits, the doctor couldn’t tell me how far along I was in my pregnancy even though I had an invasive ultrasound. The doctor also said they would send prenatal vitamins to my pharmacy and it was never done. Each appointment felt rushed and there was no education for how the pregnancy should go. (Things to do or not to do.) I didn’t feel valued as a patient whatsoever.

Dr. Guirguis was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, funny, and made me feel very comfortable. He only performed the exam and tests that he felt were necessary. Unlike other physicians who will perform a ton of tests, even though you do no need them just to bill the insurance. I'm so happy I found him, and will be recommending him to all my female friends and family members.
