“Zocdoc messed up my appointment time but the office staff accommodated us despite of very busy schedule. The staff is very nice and caring. Doctor Toca is a great listener and feels genuinely concerned about his patients. My mother’s appointment was with a nurse practitioner but Dr Toca came and discussed her reports in very detail. He answered all our questions and concerns and recommended the best treatment. He didn't rush into any drastic decisions and rather took a more detailed approach. I will recommend him to anyone I know, its hard to find doctors like him.”

About Dr. Forrest Toca
F. Michael Toca, M.D. is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist who also specializes in Cardiology and the chief operating officer of Total Cardiology of Atlanta.
Dr. Toca is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA where he graduated with honors. He attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he served as the student body president and was selected to be in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors society.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School where he was selected to be chief resident at the West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Toca completed fellowships in both Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University Of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Toca is a member of The American College of Cardiology, The Heart Rhythm Society and Association of Black cardiologists. He has also won the young physician of the year award from the Atlanta Medical Association and is currently the chairperson of the Atlanta Medical Association. Lastly he has also won the Healthcare Industry of the year award.
His special interests include: electrophysiology and understanding health disparities. He specializes in atrial fibrillation ablation, biventricular pacemakers, ventricular tachycardia ablation, pacemakers/defibrillators and other ablative procedures.

It was a good experience. He told me things I need to refrain from that cause water retention. The lady who weighed me and did my EKG was so nice and welcoming. The check-in receptionist was very friendly as well. Office space is nice and cozy. The parking garage is super close less than a 2 to 3 minute walk. One floor up on the elevator then you’re there. I would definitely return..

Dr Toca has an amazing bedside manner. It was my first time as a new patient but I didn’t feel rushed and he made sure to ask if I had any other questions other than what we discussed. In the past, with other doctors I have felt rushed and brushed off but that was not the case here. Additionally his staff was very nice as well.
It’s only been one visit but so far I would recommend.

Dr. Toca was great. I'm so grateful for the time he took listening to me. I'm not used to this from any doctor! The nurse whose name started with an M I think (Maggie?) and I'm so disappointed that I forget, was fantastic. She was kind and knowledgeable and we had a good laugh. There was also a med student there named Gloria who was also nice. She did a great job. The front desk staff was wonderful. I spoke with a woman in blue scrubs who has worked there for 6 years. If that doesn't tell you about a doctor's office, then nothing does.

Awesome experience with Dr. Toca and the entire front office staff, especially Shene. I had a unpleasant experience with the NP Summer, she was oblivious to me needing to return to work even after I expressed that I needed to leave and waited 12-15 more minutes. Instead of allowing me to leave promptly without a second rebuttal she responded “It’s okay” and wanted me continue to wait on her in the office when the update could be received by phone call. Dr. Toca noticed this interaction, intervened, listened to my concern and made sure he contacted me by phone with the update. He is a very caring prescriber/provider and I am so happy to have experienced his level of care and expertise. Very thorough and concerned with his patients well being.

This was my first visit to the office and the staff was very pleasant and kind . I gave the wait time 3 stars because that was the time I had to wait which I didn’t have a problem with because there were other patients before me . When I met Dr. Toca I didn’t mind the wait time because he was very caring , ,listens and gives great advice ! I felt very comfortable talking to Dr. Toca and not feeling intimidated because he’s the doctor. First impressions really count and I wasn’t disappointed.
