I help individuals find relief from anxious thoughts, worries, and overthinking, guiding them to discover the next logical steps for challenges related to relationships, work stress, communication, and family issues. I assist you in gaining control of your thoughts and freeing up mental energy to be more present, connect with your family and friends, increase motivation to achieve your goals, and invite more feelings of joy into your life.
I am Dr. Frances He, Psy.D., a psychologist trained at John F. Kennedy University. I am passionate about helping clients see and experience the possibility of elevating their happiness and cultivating consistent peace and joy in life. I love witnessing my clients feel empowered not to settle for what is. As a first-generation Chinese immigrant, I speak Cantonese and Mandarin. I also regularly attend a local church.
What should a new client know about working with you?
During the first meeting, I will go over the intake information with you and identify their treatment goals. I will explain to you how I work and my interventions to address your needs. After we work together for some sessions, you will develop tools and strategies to take control of your thought life and feel a powerful sense of relief and even inner peace and hope; as a result, you will discover the solutions to your problems at hand and confidence about your next step.
FYI: Clients reported that they feel greater ease to access and process their thoughts and feelings without the distraction from the video. If you prefer, you have the option with video off for our sessions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
