About Dr. Frank Derienzo
Dr. Derienzo has been in practice for almost 30 years, and is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry. He completed a two year fellowship in Ocular Diseases at Omni Eye Services, a New Jersey based referral center for complicated ocular disorders. After completing his training, he served as their Center Director for 10 years.
In 2005, Dr. DeRienzo was recognized as one of Americas’ Top Doctors by the Research Council of America, a non-profit organization that rates the top doctors throughout the country in all medical specialties.

Dr. Derienzo is an excellent Optometrist. His exams are thorough and he answers any questions you may have with both professionalism and patience. My trust in him exceeds any expectations I would ever have in a Doctor. I recommend him to all patients that are searching for an Optometrist. All aspects of the eye are covered thru the exam.
The staff is all very welcoming and they guide you through all that is needed as far as insurance.
There selection of glasses are excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable and work closely with the Doctor as to what is needed for the best vision possible.

Helpful ,direct and confident. I felt like i had a thorough exam with helpful advise on keeping my eyes healthy(this is important as a lifetime contact wearer)Dr. Derienzo was uncredible caring and i really felt like he had my best interes at heart. My appontment felt relaxed , informative , and was as enjoyable , as an eye appointment can be. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is unhappy with their current optometrist , or just looking for someone new. The staff were very helpful also, they found my vision coverage right away, that usually takes for another places a while.

Dr.Derienzo is a phenomenal optometrist. I needed to get a new prescription for glasses and contacts. He spend so much time trying to find the perfect fit for me, I never felt rushed. He is so gentle and explained everything he was doing step by step. He answered every question I had and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely come back to him , it’s nice to finally have a doctor who really cares about his patients !

I don’t recommend Dr.Derienzo, he rushes and doesn’t take a time to answer your questions and ignores your questions overall. However, his assistants are much better than him.
Their glasses and contact lenses are overpriced too.
Just don’t waste your precious time.
