Greetings; I am Dr. Simpson, a licensed psychologist trained in clinical, health psychology, and counseling. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from National Louis University and completed my internship and fellowship at Forrest Health, as well as an externship at Lakeside Veterans Affairs Clinic. With over 30 years of experience working with the human condition, I have supported clients from a wide range of lifestyles and issues. Each individual is as unique as the process required to support or help you take the next step in your growth or symptom relief. Although no clinician is a good match for everyone, many have found me to be empathic, respectful, and easy to talk with. I focus on developing therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe discussing often difficult issues. If you find yourself in need of counseling in a safe and confidential environment, I would be honored to assist you in discovering the answers that are best for your concerns. I currently provide video-telehealth sessions for clients aged 18 and older. Most current clients self-pay; however, I accept a limited number of insurances and can provide a superbill for others. If you plan to use your insurance benefits, it is best to contact your insurance carrier to determine if I am ?in network? or if you need ?pre-authorization? to see me. You will be responsible for payment at each session.
