Everyone was helpful and professional.
Dr. Levi was terrific. He was thorough, answered all my questions and got my x-rays taken very quickly. His office got the authorization for an MRI and help me schedule an appointment. . Dr. Levi is knowledgeable, thorough, down to Earth and kind.
Dr Levi was wonderful, but this place is an absolute nightmare and a scam, mostly due to Lupe. She should be let go immediately as I have been told there are many complaints against her as it stands. Billing will add random charges and bill you later despite having settled up and agreeing on a price. Then, Lupe doesn’t answer or return calls EVER! It’s been 2 months and not a peep despite calling almost every other day and her colleagues supposedly emailing her. Again, Dr Levi was great but not worth the nightmare that is billing and admin. Whoof.
Everyone was very pleasant and professional as always. This was a good visit with my doctor.
This visit was very informative and uplifting on my next steps.
My visit was very informative. Dr. Levi gave me a lot to think about concerning my knee situation.
Let me start by saying my parents have seen Dr. Levi at both of his locations and I have been with both of them at the time of their visit. I booked my mom's appt thru Zoc Doc last year at his St. Elizabeth office, I got a confirmation from Zoc Doc saying my appt was all set up, I made arrangements at work for the time off only to get a call the day before that my appointment had to be changed, because the time I chose was not available. To say the least this was very inconvenient but the young lady said there was nothing she could do except give me a later time. In the end my mom was very happy with her treatment which is why we decided to take my dad to him, I wasn't sure about booking thru Zoc Doc considering what happened last time, but I decided to give it a try since it is so convenient. I had to schedule at his north side office this time, chose the day and time I wanted, filled out his demos and ins info and got a confirmation 30 mins later that my appt was all set. This time there was no phone call the day before to change my appt just a call confirming it. There was a little bit of a wait the morning of his appt to get called back, and the doctor seemed a little rushed (it looked very busy), but overall my parents were very pleased with the outcome of the appointment the MA's were very sweet and helpful, always with a smile on their face. And while Dr. Levi seemed rushed, He answered all of our questions. We were seeking conservative treatment for my dad since his docs wont clear him to have surgery yet, and he was very helpful and understanding. It's nice to find a surgeon who is willing to help and listen to your concerns and not just lose interest when you tell them you are not looking to have surgery just yet. I work in the medical field and personally know many ortho's, I don;t know Dr. Levi personally, but he treated my parents with respect and dignity, they are not fluent in English so when they come out of a doctor's office feeling confident and informed I know the doctor and staff went the extra mile to help and inform them. I would definitely recommend Dr. Levi to my family and friends.
Although he might be a good Doctor. The wait time there is unbelievable. I had 2 visits and would not return.
Very knowledgable and good bed side manner.
Dr. Levi and the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. They were thorough and explained everything to me in great detail. I highly recommend Dr. Levi for any ortho need you might have!
Another good visit with Dr. Gabriel Levi and his staff. Thank you Alice
My visit was nothing less than I expected. It was personable and professional. Thanks for all you do Dr. Levi and staff !!
Another good visit to get my second shot of Supartz in my knees. I have three more to go. I was greeted by the staff with a smile and taken quickly. Thank you all for all you do! It is actually a pleasure to come here and know that I will be looked at with such care.
Dr. Levi has always shown genuine concern and respected me by giving me full information about my condition. I always feel better after I've seen him. My injury due to a fall required the efforts of a skilled surgeon and I was fortunate that Dr. Levi was the doctor who did my surgery. A word, too, about his staff who are unfailingly kind and helpful. It makes for a good combination.
Another great visit with Dr. Gabriel Levi and his staff. The always make me feel like family here. They treat me with the up most respect and courtesy. I have never felt like I am just a number with them. I don't hesitate to ask any questions and he always takes the time to listen and explain. Dr. Levi has treated me with so much care I am grateful. I wish there were more doctors like him. His staff is also always friendly and professional. I recommend if you need an Orthopaedic doctor he is the one for you. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
Doctor & Staff were very thorough and got some billing questions answered for me too.
I couldn't help but felt "sold to" my entire visit with Dr. Levi. I went in for a general consultation and was old there was a 99% chance my knee was fine. Half the visit was spent selling me on surgeries that I would "likely not need" and that I should get an MRI and possibly an injection in my knee. I didn't feel anyone was listening to me when I was explaining the very inconsistent knee problem. It was more for a precautionary measure and here I am worrying about getting plasma or stem cells injected into my knee. This is after I said I am homeopathic. Tough to recommend.
I had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was seen on time and the doctor was very knowledgeable. I had a great experience overall and I would recommend for anyone to come to this office.
Everyone in the office is so nice and professional! Dr. Gabriel Levi is such an honest man! He has done a miracle on me! I had gone to Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, I got rejected they told me that I would die on their table. I couldn't believe it! I then saw Dr. Gabriel Levi, he was so compassionate and understanding. He explained everything to me detail by detail, my procedure. I would recommend everyone to him.
Dr. Gabriel Levi is an outstanding physician, he was very attentive and listened carefully to my my medical problem. I had a rotator cuff tear and was experiencing a lot of pain. I have been going through physical therapy and pain medication for over a year. I was hesitant to have the rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Levi treated me with a stem cell injection on my left shoulder. It is almost unbelievable that after a week of the injection, I felt less pain and 10 weeks later, I don't experience pain. He recommended me to have few more weeks of physical therapy to strengthen the shoulder. The office staff is warm and friendly.
Waited for more than an hour before I finally had to leave. Dr. Levi and his staff seemed totally unconcerned and unapologetic. If you value your time, and you want a doctor who values your time, don't come here.
This is more of a review of the overall experience and not Dr. Levi. The office was clean and nice enough. Quite busy for 840am but it was a Friday so I wasn't too surprised. However, the reception told me that there was an error with my Zocdoc submitted paperwork and that I would have to re-fill out all of the information by hand. Then over 45 min later, I was still waiting while they "verified my insurance." I explained that this was already submitted electronically and that I had the email confirmation. After finally getting an X-ray (the technician was great), I was sent to wait for the doctor for another 30 minutes. My visit had crossed the 2 hr threshold and I had yet to see the doctor. When Dr. Levi arrived, he was professional and did not rush me. He did a good job explaining my potential issue and what my options were. Unfortunately, the 2.5 hour experience left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me hesitant to return. I asked that my co-pay be comped for the sub par service and had to meet with the office manager only to be told there was nothing that they could do.
Very knowledgeable and responsive to my issues. Excellent staff as well.
Appts w/ Dr Levi have generally been pretty brief and impersonal. He wasn't able to help me figure out what is causing me pain in my back or even really have any sort of possible ideas as to what it could be. It felt like just a revolving door of patients. Their accounting department is having some issues as well. They charge you for your co-pay right when you check into your appointments and somehow they seemed to have not logged that I paid for one of my visits and sent me a bill in the mail for the visit i had already paid for. I have the charge in my bank history yet they somehow don't have record of the payment. They wouldn't let me email the proof of payment - my only options were to fax or bring it in. I do not have a fax because it's 2016 and I shouldn't have to go out of my way to come into the office to show that I have already paid when it's THEIR fault that the records are inaccurate. I shouldn't have to be inconvenienced for an office error.
