Getting to know Dr. Gail Zuckerbraun

Hi there, I'm Gail! Hello, I'm Dr. Gail DeMarco Zuckerbraun, a licensed clinical psychologist with over two decades of experience working in diverse settings to treat addiction. I will help you gain a unique perspective on your current situation to develop self-compassion and more effective coping strategies. My approach My approach is to connect the past to present patterns while guiding you toward actionable goals. This helps shed shame-based perspectives, which I believe is transformative and allows real change to occur. I was trained primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrated Acceptance and Commitment as well as Humanistic therapy approaches. My focus Whether you're an addict, in recovery, or have a family member in addiction, I offer a highly successful approach that complements AA, Al Anon, or any current treatment. I have the unique experience of helping grandparents who are raising their grandchildren to end the intergenerational cycle of addiction. My communication style I take a bold and effective approach with clear and direct feedback that fosters growth and insight. My first session with you When we work together, I create an environment in which you will feel comfortable, yet challenged. My approach is bold and effective—I give clear and direct feedback that fosters growth and insight.
