“The front desk is excellent, very friendly. Tho my visit was short there’s not much communication between nurse and MD with patient. I know they’re very busy which looks like but I didn’t expect the visit was very quick maybe I expected too much in terms of going thru my problem from Dr kazmer, MRI I already expected that, as a nurse in surgical floor or maybe get history a little bit about my problem, my type of work that contribute to my problem, options or treatments. Anyhow overall it was good visit. Kody’s to the front desk I forgot the guys name he was as nice and friendly .”

About Dr. Gary Kazmer
Dr. Kazmer is a board-certified podiatric surgeon who specializes in treating conditions relating to the foot and ankle. He works closely with adults and seniors to provide a conservative, comprehensive treatment plan that offers solutions and comfort for an active lifestyle.
Dr. Kazmer also specializes in treating podiatric foot conditions and deformities that affect the foot’s bones, tendons, and muscles. This includes cavovarus foot deformity, tarsal coalition, clubfoot, accessory navicular, and juvenile bunions.
As a part of a patient’s comprehensive treatment plan, orthotics may be recommended to correct foot deformities, improve foot/ankle function and support, or reduce the risk of further injuries. Dr. Kazmer works closely with patients to create custom-fitted orthotics for added comfort and foot pain relief.
Dr. Kazmer is involved in Folds of Honor, and is proud to support the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military veterans. When not at work, Dr. Kazmer enjoys golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

The staff and Dr. Kazmer were both friendly and efficient. My concerns were listened to, an xray was taken, and the doctor was in within minutes. Dr. Kazmer knew the issue right away and had a solution. I was very happy with the visit.

Doctor could care less.. I noticed when I was waiting for my appointment another patient was booked the same time. Doctor spent under a minute with me. Told me my MRI readings were wrong nothi g wrong with my foot., but acknowledged foot super swollen . Told him I had gout for years told me to getti g on gput meds see primary care not foot doctor. Could not wait to get me out of his office with no help or explanation… made me get xrays in his office to pad the bill even though I came in with an MRI disc. ? Told him my legs do not feel good after multiple steroid shots and prednisone pack told me never heard of it. A simple google search would reveal one prednisone dose could cause the side effects.
I drove over 34 miles to see the stocker because of the sock doc reviews stating he was good. I would never come back to the doctor.

Great podiatrist in Barrington area. Helped me with a chronic ingrown toe nail that had been bothering me for years. Did a minor procedure at first visit. Gave me great directions on taking care of it post procedure. If I have any other foot issues I’ll be seeing Dr. Kaz again.

My wife developed a diabetic ulcerative toe. Dr. Kazmer was very attentive to her needs. He developed a treatment plan that was brilliant. We were able to discuss wound management and progress over several months. We should have come here first. The toe is completely healed after what appeared to be a very severe initial condition.

The most important quality for a doctor-patient relationship is the ability for the specialist to explain conditions to you in an understandable manner. Dr. Zarmer made our consultation a conversation instead of a dictation. I truly appreciated his professionalism but also candor explaining things to me.
