About Dr. Gavin Weltmer

Dr. Gavin Weltmer grew up in Modesto, California surrounded by the Coastal and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges, just a stone’s throw from the San Francisco Bay Area and the region’s many national parks, including the famed Yosemite National Park. He knew he wanted to be a chiropractor back when he was still in college. He was in his undergraduate studies and had recently switched majors when he starting thinking back on his first (and at that time, only) visit to a chiropractor. He’d been having a lot of low back pain and with a single lumbar adjustment, his pain improved immensely. Remembering that relief and what it brought to his life cemented his vision and his path forward became clear. What Dr. Gavin’s patients appreciate most about him is how attentive he is to their unique needs. He prides himself on being a good listener and trying to understand what each patient needs specific to their symptoms and circumstances. Dr. Gavin defines wellness as the ability to do both the things he needs to do and the things he wants to do, without discomfort. He maintains his own wellness by getting adjusted weekly, eating a balanced healthy diet, and getting outside with his family often.
