*ALL APPOINTMENTS ARE IN PERSON; I DO NOT OFFER VIRTUAL VISITS AT THIS TIME.* If you are an open-minded adult experiencing a challenging situation and/or anxiety, unhappiness, indecisiveness, mild to moderate depression or sadness-and hoping for support and ultimately a more satisfying life-my practice is particularly suited for you. We'll decide together the best approach for you and your situation. With over 30 years of experience, I am eclectic in my methods, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), Humanistic, Existential, Jungian, and/or Behavioral Therapy. I earned a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Houston in 1980. After several years working for the Texas Department of Public Welfare and as an alcohol/drug dependency counselor, I re-specialized and completed a PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 1990. Besides life itself, my work has been informed by my studies of Carl Jung, Eckhart Tolle, the Tao Te Ching, Jean Gebser, Carl Rogers, and James Bugental.
