He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1998. He completed his podiatric surgical residency at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Torgesen’s residency training emphasized diabetic limb salvage, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and lower extremity trauma. He is skilled in correcting bunion deformities, hammertoes, bone spurs, and other foot conditions. His wound care expertise includes the use of Tenex Health System’s minimally invasive ultrasonic treatment and Leneva plantar fat pad augmentation. He proudly serves a diverse patient population and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
