Dr. Gillian Tibbetts is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in helping individuals experiencing life transitions, LGBTQ issues, relationship and parenting challenges, trauma or loss, and general dissatisfaction with one or more aspects of their lives. Dr. Tibbetts uses a relational approach to cultivate a supportive, non-judgmental relationship built on trust and acceptance. She approaches therapy through an attachment lens, helping clients gain personal understanding by exploring how past experiences influence their current lives. Dr. Tibbetts encourages and supports clients in identifying and utilizing their strengths while acknowledging how overlapping aspects of their lives—from their histories to current relationships and family dynamics—influence their approaches to self-reflection, school, work, and relaxation. She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University and her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Trent University. Dr. Tibbetts has presented at several international professional conferences, and her research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals. She is a member of PSYPACT and is authorized to meet with clients virtually across the United States. *Dr. Tibbetts conducts sessions via telehealth only.*
