About Dr. Grant Lisetor

Dr. Grant had a tumultuous upbringing. His family was financially impoverished, surviving on food stamps and 19-cent hamburgers from McDonald's. The family of six lived in a one-bedroom trailer with a large hole in the bathroom floor and thousands of cockroaches as fellow occupants. Despite these challenges, Dr. Grant was a gifted student and wrestler, both of which played a role in his future as a chiropractor. During his junior year of high school, he suffered a wrestling injury. With the help of state Medicaid, he saw several specialists-all to no avail. While dealing with this injury, he was invited to a program that allowed him to attend a state college in place of his senior year of high school.
He got his own apartment, worked a third-shift job as a frozen food manager at a grocery store, and attended college full-time during what would have been his senior year of high school. It was during this time that a friend suggested he seek chiropractic care for his chronic injury. He paid for his chiropractic care himself, and after just a few visits, it helped more than any other specialty treatment he had tried. After six months of care, the injury was completely healed. This experience inspired him to transfer to Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he completed his undergraduate degree in nutrition and then earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Grant and his wife, Sam, have 3 children. Their 2nd child was born with a rare disease known as Hirschsprung's. Dr. Grant has always had a passion for helping children, but watching his son deal with this condition challenged and motivated him to become the best pediatric chiropractor-not just in Charlotte or the Southeast, but the best pediatric chiropractor ever.

Dr. Grant is a great chiropractor. The office environment is always clean & festive for whatever time of the year it is. The staff is incredibly kind and willing to help you in anyway possible. Dr. Grant is a consumate professional with kind disposition and a wealth of knowledge. I have been to quite a few chiropractors, and Dr. Grant is the best by a mile.
