About Dr. Gregg Cavaliere

Dr. Gregg Cavaliere is an Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine physician with a particular focus on knee and shoulder issues. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was named Chief Resident. During his residency, he assisted team physicians for professional clubs such as the New York Jets, New York Rangers, and New York Knicks. Dr. Cavaliere also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at New York University. He spent time working with the then-New Jersey Nets and the New York Islanders, assisting in the care of the latter for five years. He has won acclaim for his work in arthroscopic shoulder repairs and minimally invasive knee surgery.
