While at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Anderson was elected as an administrative chief resident and was honored with the Joseph M. Janes Award, a peer-nominated award for demonstrating excellent surgical skills and compassionate patient care. He then completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the University of Virginia. Throughout his career, Dr. Anderson has worked with a variety of college and professional sports teams such as the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Twins. He currently works as the head orthopedic surgeon for the Utah Grizzlies. Outside of work, Dr. Anderson enjoys family time, basketball, football, golf, music, camping, hunting and fishing.
