About Dr. Hank DeHaven
Dr. DeHaven received his undergraduate degree from Huntington College in 1997. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2001. He completed externships with emphasis on pediatrics, glaucoma, retinal disease, cataract surgery co-management and refractive surgery co-management.
Dr. DeHaven founded Community Eye Care in 2005. He enjoys providing eye care to patients of all ages. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. Dr. DeHaven also has a special interest in specialty contact lens fitting and pediatric eye care.
Dr. DeHaven is active in the White House Lions Club. He is a past board member of the White House Chamber of Commerce.

I have been going to Community Eye Care for several years now and Dr. DeHaven has been awesome! Even when I moved a few towns over and tried a new doctor, I ended up back here. He even helped me with an eye issue that occured when my new eye doctor had me switch contact brands. Dr. DeHaven has never once tried to convince me to switch contact brands, which I appreciate because even though they aren't the best or the most popular brand, they work for me. The staff is always very friendly and I'm never left waiting for forever to be seen. I also like how they explain the paperwork to you so you know exactly what you're signing and what you're paying for that visit.
