Getting to know Dr. Hannah Yang
Are you ready to take your healing to the next level? I specialize in working with creative, intuitive women who are looking for an integrative psychotherapist who can pull from all facets of life to empower them even further on their healing journey. We will identify and celebrate moments of joy along the way.
I work best with women who would like to incorporate spirituality, body-based healing, and any or all facets of life into psychotherapy. I can zoom out to see the big picture of how things in your life affect each other, as well as zoom in to help you identify small adjustments you could make to feel better. It’s sort of like psychotherapy with a coaching edge!
I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My training includes an internship in psychology at Friends Hospital and a residency in psychology at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am the owner of Balanced Awakening, a psychotherapy practice exclusively for the unique psychotherapy needs of women across the lifespan. We help women overcome a wide range of difficulties to live more full, happy, and engaged lives.
I specialize in providing psychotherapy to fellow entrepreneurs, creatives, visionaries, and healers.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We’ll start with an exploration of where you’re at in your life, how you’re feeling, and identify ways to help you feel your best! Therapy will be customized specifically for you and is both intuitively led and guided by what is safe for you to explore.
