About Dr. Helene Lacoste
Helene Lacoste, MD, specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, the care of women during pregnancy, as well as the treatment of diseases that affect a woman’s reproductive system.
Dr. Lacoste is prepared to care for a woman’s health needs, from routine gynecological exams and pap smears, fertility issues, pregnancy and childbirth, all the way through the stages of menopause.

I truly believe I was meant to find Dr. Helene Lacoste as I searched under my health insurance. I have had a lifetime of serious female issues due to a medication that my mother took while expecting me. No other Dr. heard of the problems caused by DES babies. I was just considered a hypochondriac and went through many surgeries for multiple tumors and cysts and a lot of pain. I was blessed to not get cancer which is usually how it ends up. I also was blessed to have 2 healthy sons after losing 1/2 of both ovaries. I am 68 now and found a Dr. who is very knowledgeable on the problems DES cause. Dr. Lacoste was so patient and kind and listened to me explain my history. I’m used to being cut off or trying to get my questions in with other dr.s as they have their hand on the door knob. Even though her office was across town I really felt like I made a good choice before I even got there. Her assistant was also great because my exams are usually so painful I asked if she would hold my hand. I didn’t experience the pain that I normally get during and after. What more can I say other than Dr. Lacoste is wonderful and staff love her because she is also good to them. YES, I highly recommend Dr. Helene Lacoste.?????????

Dr. Lacoste became my doc just two years ago after my long-term doc of 20 years had retired. Dr. Lacoste was a partner in the same group of physcians, so I just continued care with her because it made for an easy transition. I'm glad I did! The only reason my wait was so long was because they had to squeeze me in because the appointment I booked through Zocdoc did not show up on their schedule. I'll call in to schedule next time and not use Zocdoc.
