About Dr. Hien Tran

Hien Tran, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2000. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston in 1996. With 24 years of experience in optometry, Dr. Tran has developed a strong interest in Myopia Management, Specialty Multifocal Contact Lens Fitting, and Dry Eye Treatment. Dr. Tran's journey into optometry began when his optometrist offered him a position as an assistant and encouraged him to apply to optometry school. He finds great satisfaction in helping his patients with their eye issues, taking the time to understand their visual needs and ocular health. His goal is to improve his patients' quality of life by enhancing their vision and overall eye comfort. Outside of work, Dr. Tran enjoys traveling, reading, and attending musicals and concerts.
