About Dr. Homan Hajbandeh
Dr. Hajbandeh believes in taking the time to treat the whole person and not rushing you into and out of the exam room. He is careful to explain test results, and discuss the pros and cons of treatment. His office will always call back on lab and radiology results, good or bad. (No more assuming that results are normal!) He works hard to prevent disease through screening as well as encouraging, coaching, and cheering on healthy lifestyles.
Dr. Hajbandeh’s office features a convenient location with easy access to the Loop 101 and Loop 202, directly across the street from Chandler Regional Hospital. His new, modern office features an electronic medical records system. For patient convenience, there is an in-house Sonora Quest phlebotomist and SimonMed Radiology is right next door. Dr. Hajbandeh’s on-staff referral specialist helps expedite your visits to specialists. He leaves same-day appointment openings to accommodate life’s emergencies or acute illnesses.
Dr. Hajbandeh grew up outside Chicago. He went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate degree and then went on to the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He completed his residency at Scottsdale Healthcare and has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2002.
In his free time, Dr. Hajbandeh enjoys spending time with his wife and newborn daughter. On the weekends he plays basketball and goes hiking in the mountains.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM, and I received several reminders via email and text confirming this time (2:45 PM). I arrived at the office promptly at 2:43 PM after completing all necessary paperwork online, including uploading my ID and insurance information. However, I was informed that I needed to arrive 15 minutes earlier, which was never communicated to me. This was frustrating, and I expressed my disappointment, emphasizing that I had arrived on time. The doctor agreed to see me as the last patient, but I unfortunately missed picking up my child from school. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

When I arrived I was told my appointment was for this Thursday. I relayed to the staff that I had booked the appt online with an app ZOCDOC. I received a call from their office a few days ago stating there had been problems with that app double booking. I was asked if I could move my appointment to today at 2:15 and I agreed to do so. I received a reminder email yesterday that my appt was scheduled for today at the time I presented. They said they would check to see if the doc could work me in. I didn’t mind waiting a little longer than normal so it all worked out very well. I appreciated not having to return to the office again on Thursday of this week as I had driven for 40 minutes to reach the place at my appointed time today. I found everyone to be friendly and quite competent. I needed to establish care w/ a primary care as I just moved here from out of state. The doctor was personable, and had obvious understanding of several medical issues for which I need ongoing care.
