About Dr. Ilyas Colombowala
Originally from Houston, TX, Dr. Colombowala attended Dartmouth College. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 2002, and he completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Baylor. While in medical school he earned certification in medical ethics. He continued with advanced training in Electrophysiology at the world-renowned Texas Heart Institute. He is board certified in cardiology, electrophysiology, and nuclear cardiology.
He started the first cardiac arrhythmia program in Northwest Montana in 2011. Dr. Colombowala then served as the Chairman of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, where he was also Co-Director of Cardiac Arrhythmia Services and Director of Device Based Arrhythmia Management and Remote Monitoring.
Having returned home to Texas, Dr. Colombowala continues to provide caring and state of the art arrhythmia management services, collaborating with other physicians to continue the Houston tradition of excellence in cardiac medicine.
