About Dr. Isabel Valencia

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Valencia received her Medical Degree in 1992 from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine where she was chief resident during her final year of training and also served as Assistant Professor from 2006 to 2007. Dr. Valencia completed a Dermatopathology fellowship at the Ackerman Academy in New York and worked for several years in the New Jersey area. Dr. Valencia has been in clinical practice in the Tampa Bay area since 2008. Dr. Valencia is Board Certified in both Dermatology as well as Dermatopathology. Dr. Valencia is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatopathology. Please note, we do not accept cash or checks. To pay for your visit, please bring a debit/credit card.

I went here to go over some concerns I had with my skin and I had dr Isabel and it was a highly unpleasant experience. I was not listened to or taken seriously and I felt like I was just thrown samples and put on medication without her even giving me two looks . Do not recommend if you have valid concerns and want to be taken seriously.
