He gained extensive experience in refractive surgery at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, and completed his residency ranked 9th in the country for refractive surgery volume as a primary resident surgeon. In 2008, Dr. Krassin moved back to Minnesota and began practicing with a healthcare system in the Twin Cities metro. Within two years, he was elected Lead Ophthalmologist, and, in 2012, was promoted to Medical Director of Refractive and LASIK surgery. Dr. Krassin joined Southwest Eye Care as a partner in 2017 and opened Atlas Surgery Center in 2021. He offers a relaxed and engaging style of patient care, ensuring that they receive personalized care coupled with leading-edge technology. When Dr. Krassin is not providing exceptional care to his patients, he spends his free time with his family enjoying the natural resources Minnesota has to offer, such as snowboarding, skiing, and boating.
